Why It Stands Out
Traditional PIR motion sensors frequently fail to detect someone reading, working quietly, or resting, leading to lights turning off prematurely or HVAC systems disengaging, causing frustration. The FP2's 60GHz mmWave radar technology provides a wide 120-degree field of view and can even detect micro-movements like breathing, eliminating false negatives. Imagine never having your smart lights switch off while you're engrossed in a book on the sofa, or having your office desk lamp illuminate only when you're actively sitting at your workstation. Unlike standard motion sensors that only react to movement, the FP2 offers true "presence" detection, making your smart home automations genuinely seamless and intelligent. Its robust performance has garnered significant praise within the smart home community for reliability. This advanced functionality offers unparalleled convenience, enhanced energy savings by only powering spaces when occupied, and a more intuitive smart home experience. With no subscriptions required and broad compatibility via Thread and Wi-Fi, it's a versatile and future-proof addition to almost any smart ecosystem.
